Well, it's my 4th full day in Cruz Das Almas! I have been so so tired the whole time being here, I think a lot because of the time change but also because I've been doing so much! I went to school for the first time, I went to a family birthday party with my host family and met so many new people, I've been doing a lot of stuff for Rotary too. School was definitely interesting, everyone was staring at me and it was really overwhelming but, people were super nice once they started talking to me. I definitely thought I knew a lot of Portuguese before I came so it's been a challenge to try and understand conversations. Today, I woke up feeling really sick and very tired so I skipped breakfast and went back to sleep and came downstairs for lunch (which was lasagna and salad, the food here isn't that crazy!) and now I'm back in my room organizing this website. I think we're going to my host family's farm today and I'm really excited because my host sister said it's really beautiful there and I might get to ride a horse! I haven't gotten a chance to take many pictures yet though so stay tuned!
